As the Sr. Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Revenue generation and growth in Strategic Key Accounts within a market

  • Develop and execute key account strategies and customer-oriented sales plans Direct engagement in key customer accounts; foster strong relationships with customer in respective accounts in order to successfully position Samsung's portfolio

  • Establish high-level as well as tactical relationships with colleagues supporting key accounts, field sales, marketing and product teams

  • Manage communications, sales promotion development, and training as required to stimulate and facilitate the sale of Samsung's products, solutions and services

  • Manage cross-functional teams towards the launch and promotion of new solutions.

  • Responding to Customer’s (internal / external) complex technical problems and non-standard requests.

  • Mobilize internal and external resources in response to customer requirements necessary to drive growth and solutions. Appreciation for Samsung’s global infrastructure and the ability to navigate through it.

  • Creating an account plan through visual tools (powerpoint etc) and presenting to a broad internal/external leadership audience

  • Perform long range planning (1 to 3 years) to drive revenue growth by increasing product placement, driving customer satisfaction and overall market share growth against assigned sales targets

  • Make decisions within guidelines and policies

  • Accountable for the contributions of the key accounts and all associated projects aligned with that account

  • Work directly with enterprise end user accounts in collaboration with our B2B solutions teams

  • Maintain working knowledge of Hand-held Mobile products: Phones, Tablets, Wearables, and blended Solutions and Services and market trends and then deliver them into your accounts

  • Developing more junior Sales staff

Necessary Skills / Attributes

  • Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of directly related experience is required

  • 3-5 years outside sales experience calling on end customers within Federal Government Agencies

  • Previous sales experience with Mobility products is desired (Mobility solutions, security software, hand held mobile products, wearables)

  • Familiarity with US Federal Contracts or the application in response to annual sales growth

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic account plans, short term and long term forecasts, Risk Assessment and SWOT Analysis

  • Experience collecting requirements and delivering applicable technical solution(s)

  • Proven track record as account manager with sustained minimum revenues $50M+ annually

  • Fortune 500 experience

  • Must possess a strong knowledge of industry products and market intelligence

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Must be able to work independently as well as with existing direct and indirect sales team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate and tailor “Samsung Solutions”

  • Strong analytical skills - Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations that drive strategic account/business plan development and action.

  • Ability to travel to meet Customers or in support of Industry Events (up to 75% of the time)

  • The ability to move and transport equipment (under 75lbs) is required

  • Knowledge of working with the CRM platform Salesforce.com a plus

  • Microsoft Office skills (Detailed PowerPoint presentations that tell a story, advanced Word & Excel)

  • Security Clearance-preferred
