Assembly Technician for production of newly developed products in Textron Systems Electronic Systems. Responsibility includes:
Electronic/electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes including precision electrical, mechanical, cable and harness assemblies
Perform self inspection and testing of assemblies produced
May also be qualified (via Quality System) to perform final inspections of assemblies
Works with engineers to assist in the development of new products or processes
Other related duties as required
High School diploma plus 2 years of manufacturing assembly experience is required.
Relevant military experience in electronic equipment is a plus.
Ability to communicate and interface with program team to plan, prioritize, and execute anaggressive manufacturing schedule.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, procedures and basic engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience with tools necessary to fabricate and test electronic circuitry
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Solid background in digital and analog circuitry.
IPC certified or able to obtain certification in J-STD-001 (Requirements for Solder & Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Unit and Systems Level Test experience, including performance of system calibrations, is a plus.
Must be a US citizen able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance.
