Job Summary

Job Summary : The UX Lead will lead a team responsible for designing product experiences across the Allegis technical landscape. This person will have responsibilities across all facets of Product and User Experience Design and strategy including interaction design, research and usability, prototyping, visual design, brand integration, design systems and content creation. They will be directly responsible for hiring and managing the User Experience researchers and User Experience Designers as well as creating and sustaining the organization's Product Design methodology and executing design strategies to meet company objectives.

Essential Functions : * Create a user-centered design vision, standards, and processes across all products and platforms to ensure a consistent, compelling and evolving user experience across all AGtouch-points for customers, talent and employees.

  • Create, curate and manage design systems, libraries of standards, patterns, and user research artifacts.

  • Create and maintain the charter document and road map as the user experience practice matures though regular touch-points with product and key.

  • Conduct Product Design and User Experience workshops, brainstorming and product planning sessions.

  • Drive definition of user experience success metrics along with the Product Owners and evangelize those metrics across the organization.

  • Establish and continuously improve a program of usability testing, prototyping and research efforts to ensure that all projects are driven by user needs and business outcomes.

  • Establish standards and oversee the creation of design specifications and design standards in the form of storyboards, prototypes, wire frames, and work flows.

  • Foster healthy relationships and work collaboratively with all organizational levels and teams within ACS & Operating Companies to meet business objectives and execute on corporate strategy.

Supervisory or Management Responsibility : Manages a team of 5-6 UX Designers and UX Researchers.

Minimum Education and/or Experience: * Bachelors or Masters Degree in User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology or related.

  • 7-10 years of design experience with focus on Product design or UX.

  • Experience designing and managing a broad set of UI platforms including applications, mobile and web.

  • Experience collaborating with a cross-functional team of designers, product owners, analysts, developers and testers.

  • Experience in the meaningful analysis of application/product usage leveraging analytic tools.

Skills/Abilities : * Provides expertise in all facets of qualitative and quantitative UX research, assessment, and measurement.

  • Leverages and applies data analysis to all existing interactions and designs or establishes data baselines for new items to drive desired outcomes.

  • Expertise in the creation and maintenance of strategy, interaction design, visual design, usability, prototyping, and research as it pertains to user experience.

  • Proven ability in developing user-centric designs and establishing a UX practice within a large scale organization.

  • Self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced, iterative, Agile development environment.

  • Strong communication, analytic, and interpersonal skills working within cross-functional teams and the ability to influence the organization.
