Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Program/Project Manager Healthcare Facilities for employment under the Arlington, VA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Key member of the Project Delivery Team and will be actively involved in all aspects of planning, procurement, design, and construction of the project

  • Performs services related to the occupancy and post-occupancy phases of the project including but not limited to the relocation of facilities, personnel and patients

  • Provides detailed reviews, analysis and recommendations regarding the performance of Architects, Engineers, General Contractor and other consultants in meeting Owner’s objectives

  • Fosters a spirit of collaboration and maintain a high degree of professionalism with the entire Project Delivery Team while building mutual trust

  • Earns AECOM’s position as a Trusted Advisor to the Owner

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Extensive experience in the healthcare environment from pre-development through construction and turnover to client

  • Experience managing design and construction subconsultants including demonstrated ability to take ownership responsibility

  • This position is for a strong “doer-seller” with excellent organizational, planning, communication and relationship building skills

  • Experience in coordinating the work of various consultants and facilitate AECOM staff participation and other support resources

  • Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience from an Owners Perspective – ie. Real Estate, Facilities, Capital Planning, Design & Construction

  • Certified Healthcare Constructor

  • Familiarity with ASHRAE Standards
